Happy New Year...New Pricing Book

Posted on January 2nd, 2008 (2 Comments)

My sincere apologies for the spotty number of blogs in December. Somehow I managed to catch the cold that everyone seems to have...TWICE.

In addition to fighting the winter flu, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be writing a new pricing book for 2009 release. I have been working on new pricing ideas for the past several months. The book proposal sold on December 21 to one of the most commercial book publishers in the world. With much gratitude, I have assembled a truly all star team to work with me on this book: a great publisher editor, 2 outside book editors, and a team of industry pricing experts to serve as a bouncing board for new ideas. Together, we have only one goal: create the book that elevates pricing to the forefront of business strategy. More details will be released once the contract has been officially signed. My sincere thanks to Rafe Sagalyn for his expert advice and guidance.

So…it’s a very exciting time of life. I’ll continue writing my blogs while working on the new book (though probably one blog a week). My goal is for this blog to offer the most cutting edge and actionable pricing advice. So please continue telling your friends and colleagues about pricingforprofit.com and drop me an email - I love hearing from fellow pricing enthusiasts.

New blogs will start on Wednesday, January 9. My sincere thanks for visiting my blog in 2007 and best wishes for a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Happy new year and congratulations on the book. You may consider adding some pricing tactics for inflationary contexts, as well as some psicology applied to pricing...
